2. Fabricating Sealed, Compact Light Engines
Landscape engines are small and survive permanent moisture exposure, so substrate and sealing are tightly linked — and the beam is matched to the lighting technique your fixture is designed for. We fabricate to your design or engineer the engine to your requirements.
Sealing and thermal design are inseparable here, and they pull against each other: the better the fixture is sealed against water, the harder it is for heat to escape. We fabricate the board to route its heat into the metal fixture body, which then acts as the heat sink to surrounding soil, air, or water. Submerged fixtures are the favorable case — water is a far better heat sink than air, so a fully potted underwater light can often run a higher output than the same fixture would tolerate in air, a margin we deliberately exploit when specifying the engine with you.

3. IP68 and Submersible Construction
What most distinguishes landscape electronics is the sealing requirement. Well lights sit in wet ground; underwater fixtures are permanently submerged. We build the board and assembly assuming water will reach the housing, to your ingress requirement.

4. Assembling Low-Voltage and RGBW Color Drivers
Landscape lighting runs on safe low voltage (12 V or 24 V) and increasingly wants color and dimming, so the driver and control boards combine efficient DC drive with optional color channels. We assemble these to your design.

5. Durability and Voltage-Drop Management
Fixtures must last years buried or submerged, and long low-voltage runs suffer voltage drop. We build for both, to your standard.

Do you sell landscape lights, or manufacture the boards?
We manufacture and assemble the boards — the sealed light engine and the low-voltage or RGBW driver — to your specification, as bare PCBs, populated PCBAs, or potted submersible modules. We are a contract PCB factory and OEM partner, not a fixture brand; you design and sell the landscape fixture, and we build its electronics to your design or engineer them to your requirements.
What ingress protection can you build to?
We build to whatever your fixture needs: IP65–IP66 against rain and irrigation for path and uplights; higher sealing against wet soil and foot traffic for well and in-ground lights; and IP68 for permanent submersion in ponds, fountains, and underwater fixtures. We scale our waterproof build from rain-resistant up to fully submersible, adding conformal coating and, for permanently submerged fixtures, full potting.
Can you fabricate fully submersible boards for ponds and fountains?
Yes. For underwater and water-feature fixtures we build to IP68 with sealed construction and full potting that encapsulates the board, designed around your sealed cable-gland interface. Submerged fixtures benefit from water cooling, which we factor into the thermal budget, allowing efficient operation in a fully sealed package — manufactured to your fixture design.
Do landscape lights use low voltage, and can you build color-changing versions?
Landscape lighting runs on safe low voltage, typically 12 V or 24 V, so the on-board electronics are an efficient DC driver design. We also assemble RGBW color channels with PWM, 0–10 V, DMX, or wireless control for color-changing uplights and washes — matching the color engine to the control board so channels and protocol line up with your design.
Can you handle voltage drop across long landscape cable runs?
Yes. Long low-voltage runs suffer voltage drop that dims fixtures toward the far end. We design constant-current regulation for even brightness and can advise on power-distribution and injection strategies so all fixtures perform consistently. For long runs, 24 V is often preferable to 12 V because it tolerates more drop, a trade-off we help you weigh.
