Modules with similar appearance can differ in pinout, timing, FPC geometry, controller type or mechanical dimensions, so a generic description is insufficient for production.

PCBA-level testing should happen before the display stack and enclosure make test pads inaccessible. The factory should reproduce the OEM-defined operating state rather than rely on a generic bench-power check.
