Online Gerber Viewer
Free Online Gerber Viewer to quickly inspect your PCB Gerber files online – easy, fast, and interactive, no downloads required.
How to Use the Online Gerber Viewer
From upload to full board inspection in seconds — no software to install, no account needed. Works on any modern desktop or mobile browser.
Upload Your Gerber Output Files
Drag and drop the Gerber files exported from your EDA tool — or upload a compressed .zip package containing your complete Gerber output set. Individual layer files and full zipped exports are both supported.
Drag & drop · .zip supportedInspect Each Layer Individually
Toggle each Gerber layer on and off — copper top and bottom, solder mask, silkscreen, drill files, and board outline. Zoom in to inspect trace routing, pad geometry, and drill hole placement across every layer.
Multi-layer toggleReview and Verify Your Output
Confirm your board outline, layer alignment, copper pours, and drill positions visually before sending files to a manufacturer. Once everything looks correct, download your view or proceed to request a fabrication quote.
Visual output verificationComplex Design? Talk to Our Engineers
If your design involves HDI stack-ups, blind or buried vias, rigid-flex layers, or high layer counts, the viewer shows the Gerber output only — not the full fabrication picture. Contact us directly for a free DFM review. A Highleap engineer responds in English within 12 hours.

This viewer renders standard Gerber output files exported from EDA tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence Allegro, Eagle, Mentor PADS, EasyEDA, and Zuken. It does not open native PCB design files (.brd, .pcb, .dsn) — you must export Gerber output from your EDA tool first.
| Extension | Gerber Layer / Description |
|---|---|
| .gbr / .ger | Generic Gerber RS-274X — copper, solder mask, silkscreen, paste layers |
| .gtl / .gbl | Top copper layer / bottom copper layer (Altium naming) |
| .gts / .gbs | Top solder mask / bottom solder mask layer |
| .gto / .gbo | Top silkscreen overlay / bottom silkscreen overlay |
| .gtp / .gbp | Top solder paste / bottom solder paste layer |
| .drl / .exc / .xln | Excellon drill file — PTH and NPTH drill hole positions and sizes |
| .gko / .gm1 | Board outline (keepout) / mechanical boundary layer |
| .zip | Compressed Gerber package — all layers extracted automatically |
This tool renders Gerber output files for visual inspection only. It does not open native EDA project files. It may not correctly represent complex fabrication structures including:
- HDI designs with blind or buried vias
- Any-layer microvia stack-ups (1+N+1, 2+N+2, 3+N+3)
- Flex and rigid-flex hybrid boards
- Sequential lamination designs (10+ signal layers)
- Back-drilled or controlled depth drill holes
For these designs, our engineers review your Gerber set against real production constraints.
